Common mistakes when riding in snow
Riding the same speed as on dry pavement
Snow and ice leave less room for correction. A pace that feels ordinary on dry pavement may not leave enough room to see, steer, or brake on a changed surface. Slow before the risk appears and choose a route with an easy exit.
Braking or steering suddenly on ice
